Skincare is one of the things that I never really in to so I never really did it (I know…) or never really know much about. I kept the same products for years until last year when I decided to change it up. I was running out of all my previous skincare so I purchased completely new products. Mainly because they were on offer at the time but in hindsight, it was a good buy.
CLEANSERS
I have three main cleansers/washes that I use regulary. I use the Garnier SkinActive refreshing botanical gel wash with Aloe extract cleanser every day as my main cleanser. I only use The Body Shop tea tree scrub in the shower every 2-3 days to give the skin a deep clean. To remove my make-up, I use the Lacura hot cloth cleanser and once the makeup is all removed, I do final cleanse using Garnier.
TONER
I only use one toner, the Garnier Skin Active Refreshing botanical toner and I use this twice a day straight after washing. I tip a bit onto a cotton pad and then rub all over my face. I really like this diner, it smells so good and leaves my face feeling hydrated and fresh.
EYES
I really want the Olay eye cream, but my bank account says no so I’ve settled for this Simple Kind to Eyes revitalising roll on. I struggle finding a good eye cream as most of them contain shea butter, which I am allergic too, and then the ones that don’t contain it, are not that good. I’m not 100% set on the Simple cream but it will do for now.
MOISTURISERS
I use the Garnier SkinActive Hydrate + Refresh Botanical Day cream in the morning which really hydrates the skin and I also don’t need to use a primer for my makeup which I really like! I’ve recently purchased this Boots Expert Skincare night cream for normal skin as I thought I’d best invest in one. I couldn’t find one that was in the Garnier range, so I went for this Boots own brand one. I really like the cream as its quite heavy and I wake up with my skin feeling quite good (for me anyway).
OTHER PRODUCTS
I love the tea tree oil drops to use on spots when I get them (which has reduced since using this new routine – even with PCOS!) as it is an antiseptic so dries up the spot.
I also like to use a face mask once a week and I’m currently making my way through the collection I have. I love the Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Peel Off mask, which at only £3 is a bargain (I also love the tea tree range at boots – so affordable and effective). Another one of my favourite masks is the Garnier Moisture Bomb Sheet masks – they leave your skin looking and feeling so hydrated! I need to use the DisneyxPrimark face maks but they are designed to look like the Princesses and I don’t know if I’m prepared!
MORNING ROUTINE
Garnier gel wash, Garnier toner, Simple eye roll on and Garnier day cream.
EVENING ROUTINE
Lacura hot cloth cleanser, Garnier gel wash, Garnier toner and Boots expert night cream.
I also use Simple Micellar Water to remove mascara. I don’t like using the Lacura cleanser to remove mascara as it stings my eyes sometimes! I do occasionally use face wipes but the Simple face wipes are great.
I hope you enjoyed taking a peek at my skincare routine, I’m quite happy with the results – I’ve noticed that I don’t get as many spots as I used too, my skin looks healthier and I love the products that I use. What skincare products do you use?
Just what I needed today. I have been dying to know how to look after my skin… I’m not great when it comes to products or even doing my own makeup. Thanks! x

Ahh that’s ok! If you’re unsure on what products to use I know the body shop can help as the people in there can point you in the right direction! I don’t have loads of skincare as I will forget so I find keeping it simple helps lots! Hope you find some products you enjoy! X

I love the body shop tea tree range. Tea tree makes a huge difference to the look and feel of my skin. I’ve been meaning to pick up one of those moisture bomb masks from Garnier, I’ve never tried a tissue mask before

Yes me too! If I had more money I would have more products! It does for me also, my skin actually clears up with tea tree. They’re so good, my favourite one is the pomegranate one but I used that up last week! Tissue masks are good but scary, I have to warn my boyfriend when I’m doing one as I have scared him before 😂 x

Ooh I love a good skincare routine. I think the Primark Disney Princess facemasks are super cute but the sheets themselves are a bit creepy haha, they’re great products too though! Great recommendations!
