Well hello there! Happy 2019 and I hope January is going well for everyone so far. So, let’s address the elephant in the room… I have a new blog name and everything to go along with it! I still have the same content from Natural Hazards and More that I’ve published however I stupidly didn’t save the media so I’m currently re-adding all the photos from my previous posts; god help me. They will all be live as soon as I sort it out so keep an eye out for them. I also have some explaining to do so grab a cuppa lets delve into the world of Liz.
For a few months I didn’t like posting on my blog and didn’t like blogging. I completely fell out of love with blogging and social media, so I stopped. I took my old blog offline and enjoyed December without the pressures of blogging and social media and said that I would be back on 1st Jan… well that worked out! I only decided in the last few days that I actually wanted to come back to blogging and that’s when ‘What Liz Loves’ was created. Please bear with me whilst I’m still sorting my blog out – I have NO IDEA about this and I’m trying ok?! Hopefully in the next week or so, everything will be how I want it to be and I will be happy with it.
What Liz Loves is going to incorporate all my favourite things in one place; mainly reading, bullet journaling and travelling. But there will be all sorts on the side also like beauty, tips and personal experiences. I hope you are all ready for the next step in my blogging world and I cannot wait to get started. Make sure you’re following me on my socials and on WordPress to keep up to date.
Time for a quick update on my life even though not much has changed other than I’ve quit my job! I’m leaving my full-time job at the end of the month to spend February focusing on my career – job searching, interviews and hopefully some work experience places. I am so scared as I am essentially unemployed, and I have no idea if this career break will take off, but I’ve got all my fingers crossed it does. If not, I have no idea what’s going to happen. It is so scary taking this leap, but I know that if I don’t do it now, I never will and I’m trying to make 2019 my year, and this is the start of it.
For 2019, I haven’t set any resolutions, I just have ideas of what I want to do to change my lifestyle and these are going to happen slowly over the next 12 months. The main thing that has changed is that I am now a veggie which is going good so far and I’m enjoying cooking and creating new meals and ideas.
I hope you will all continue to follow me and enjoy my blog posts, I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and can’t wait to share my posts with you all.
Speak soon,

Welcome back! I think it’s fine to take a break sometimes. Sometimes it’s well and truly what you need to get back in the swing of things. Blogging is a passion of mine and if I ever fell out of love with it, I’d never force myself to carry on. Honestly though! I’m glad to see you’re back!
